Game of Thrones: Dragonfall gets The Silver Blade update: Moondancer joins

Warner Bros. has rolled out a new update for Game of Thrones: Dragonfall, its free-to-play mobile 4X strategy game. It’s called The Silver Blade, and it adds Moondancer to the roster as a playable Legendary Warrior.

The name makes it sound bigger than it is. This isn’t a new TV spin-off, a movie, or some separate franchise project. Warner Bros. is using Moondancer’s epithet for Dragonfall’s latest content update, and what you’re actually getting is Baela Targaryen’s dragon from the Targaryen Civil War era, now playable as a Legendary Warrior in Game of Thrones: Dragonfall, where the core loop is building, expanding, fighting, and managing resources.

Moondancer is designed to get more dangerous the longer a fight lasts, so this is a good pickup if you already play Game of Thrones: Dragonfall or keep tabs on Game of Thrones games. If you mostly know Westeros through the HBO shows, though, this lands more as a smaller live-service update than any kind of major reveal, even with House of the Dragon season 3, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and other Westeros projects continuing to push the franchise past TV.

You can get Game of Thrones: Dragonfall on mobile.
