Gamescom has announced the nominations for their game awards, which will be announced at the convention in Cologne, Germany on August 15th.

These awards show us what games industry figures and journalists think will be big over the next year. The list is long, with categories based on game genres and platforms. An overall ‘Best of Gamescom 2014’ award will be chosen from the winners of each category.

There are plenty of games nominated that are no surprise, like Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, FIFA 15, PES 2015 and Far Cry 4, but the list also includes less well known titles. Check out the full list below.
