Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition arrives on PS5 this October

Ghost of Yōtei is getting a Complete Edition on PlayStation 5. It’s out October 1, 2026, and it rolls together the base game, the Echoes of Sekigahara story expansion, and the Most Wanted survival mode.

Echoes of Sekigahara digs into protagonist Atsu’s past on the mainland and ties that story to the Battle of Sekigahara. It also adds a new valley, a new character, new enemy types, more weapons, and a fresh set of armor. Most Wanted goes in a different direction: it’s a roguelike single-player bounty mode built for repeat runs, with combat that ramps up, perks that can change your build from run to run, and unlockable characters such as Oyuki, who uses a kusarigama, and Nagato, who fights with a yari.

If you’ve been holding off, this is probably the version to buy. Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition costs $69.99, and anyone who already owns the base game can upgrade for $14.99 instead of paying for Ghost of Yōtei all over again.

There’s also a free update for all Ghost of Yōtei players on the same day. That patch adds transmog and the Beauty of Yōtei screensaver-style mode. The timing lines up with the game’s one-year anniversary, after a strong launch and a warm reception.
