Google Maps Street ViewGoogle Maps has expanded its Street View service to six more American cities – Chicago, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland and Tucson. If you’re not up-to-speed with Google Maps Street View yet the software allows you to drag a little man onto any blue-outlined road and zoom in to see the houses, shops, cars and people. Using your mouse, you can scroll around the area as if you were there. However, it’s not without controversy. There have been obvious concerns mounted over the intrusion of people’s privacy (apparently members of the public have been spotted urinating and getting arrested, it’s unclear if this is the same person) as well as arguments that it could support future terrorist attacks. Whatever your view, these Google technologies are incredible and worth using.
