Google Play Store Error Code 18 with 3 Solutions

Set Date and Time Correct

If the date and time on your device are wrong, you might get an error code 18 when trying to download an app from the Play Store. Set the time right to solve the problem.

– Tap on ‘Settings’ in your app menu.
– Scroll down to ‘Date/Time’ and select it.
– Uncheck the ‘Automatic Date and Time’ option so that you can manually set it.
– Correct the date and time on your device.
– Restart your device.

Clear Data and Cache

– Go to ‘Settings’ in your app menu.
– Tap on ‘Apps’ and underneath ‘All’ scroll down to ‘Google Play Store’ and tap on it.
– On the Google Play info screen, tap on the ‘Clear Cache’ and ‘Clear Data’ buttons.
