Tensor G6, 256GB base storage and higher prices rumored

Google has locked in its Made by Google event for August 12, 2026. If the usual rumors are right, that’s where we’ll see the Google Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, Pixel 11 Pro Fold, a new Pixel Watch 5, and maybe even a Google Pixel Tag.
On the design side, expect something pretty close to the Pixel 10 look, with the rear camera bar sticking around, a black finish across the lineup, and some new color options. There’s also talk of a HiLight camera bar that could glow in custom colors for incoming calls and during Google Gemini interactions.
Inside, the big change should be the Google Tensor G6, reportedly built on TSMC’s 2nm process. The focus doesn’t sound like raw benchmark wins so much as lower heat, better battery life, and stronger on-device features.
A few other changes may be coming too. The 128GB model could be dropped in favor of 256GB as the standard option, likely with about a $100 price increase, and Google may move to a MediaTek modem to help with cellular performance. The Pixel Watch 5 is rumored to offer double the storage, features like Loss of Pulse Detection, and a price bump of roughly $50 to around $399. If Pixel Tag shows up, it would be Google’s AirTag-style tracker for Google Find My Device.
If you follow Pixel launches, or you’re due for an upgrade, this event looks like one to watch, even if the bigger ecosystem push may mean paying more.
Google says the stream starts at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT, with Trevor Noah hosting, and there’s a chance Google Store pages or preorders go live earlier since the countdown ends at 10 a.m. ET.
