For those of you wanting to live the high life, the Los Santos Drug Wars are upon us! As of tomorrow, December 13, 2022, GTA Online will have new updates appearing with the latest missions featuring psychedelics. It’s going to be a chaotic experience, especially when you can cook up your own chemistry lab.

PlayStation Blog mentioned the new GTA Online update recently, indicating what it all includes. You’ll meet up with Nervous Ron again. No, he’s not the one from Hogwarts, and there are different magic mushrooms involved. The quests involve helping them stamp their brand in the drug trade.

It’s not as easy as it sounds, though. Bikers and hippies will be trying to stop you, as you’re now stepping on their territories. You’ll have to fight them off while also making a name for yourself and your team. It’s an exciting chapter in GTA Online, one with the drug trade in Los Santos as the main focus.

GTA Online present Drug Wars

You’ll not only receive these new missions in the Los Santos Drug Wars GTA Online update. There’s a new business enterprise to manage, vehicles to ride and destroy, and experimental upgrades to achieve. PlayStation also promises that there’s much more to come over the holidays.

I remember when I experienced drugs in the GTA V main game. Even GTA IV had some fun with it. It involved taking some psychedelics, sometimes by accident, and shooting at zombies and aliens. There were waves of enemies, and you had to survive for as long as possible. When you awoke, you stood up in some random mountain valley without any idea how you got there.

Based on the GTA Online update notes, it looks like you’ll be more of a business owner and distributor than actively taking any of the drugs. However, I’m sure we’ll find a few missions that may involve that activity. It should make for some good laughs, as long as you don’t take it too seriously.
