Although GTA V is the most successful game in Rockstar’s franchise and all fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the imminent GTA VI, there is one Grand Theft Auto video game that no fan of the moment is able to forget: GTA: San Andreas.
Despite not having a number as the main game in the series, this title that came out in 2004 was an impressive success on PlayStation 2 and Xbox, and for a whole generation it was the entry into the genre. That’s why many dream of a San Andreas remake, although with Rockstar putting everything into GTA VI it’s not very likely that this is going to happen.

To kill the bug and show how awesome GTA: San Andreas would look released today, a group of fans have released on the YouTube channel TeaserPlay a teaser of the game developed with Unreal Engine 5. Without a doubt, the characterization and lighting work is sublime, and makes us imagine what Rockstar could achieve if they got their hands on it.
GTA 6 is coming soon
Although it is not in Rockstar’s plans to release a remake of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, in 2021 it updated GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas in a collection titled Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. These remasters did not get too much public favor, but it is the best way to try these games today.
While we await the arrival of GTA VI and the multiple updates of GTA Online, it seems like a good time to catch up on the saga with these previous games. Although they are not developed with Unreal 5, their mechanics are still very enjoyable.
