'Harry Potter' suffers a blow in its HBO Max series. One of its main actresses is leaving between seasons

If you have read Harry Potter, you already know that Ginny Weasley’s role in the first book is little more than an anecdote. Of course, her writer, the one who must not be named, was not very clear on what the overall plot of the saga would be, because by the end of the story, both wizards ended up married with a child.
Perhaps knowing the ending, they have given her a bit more substance in the HBO Max series, although, for their sake, I hope not, because it has backfired on them.
Ginny, the missing
And it turns out that the actress who will portray her in the first season, Gracie Cochrane, has decided to leave the series before the filming of the next one, for reasons that have not been disclosed. Her family has issued a statement saying that “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Gracie has made the decision to leave her role as Ginny Weasley. Her time as part of the world of Harry Potter has been truly fantastic”.
Whatever happened, HBO doesn’t seem to be upset. In fact, a representative responded by stating “We support Gracie Cochrane and her family’s decision not to return for the next season and we are grateful for her work in season one. We wish them the best.” In any case, what this means is that they need to hurry to find a new actress: after all, in The Chamber of Secrets, Ginny has a pretty important role.
Well, there are always face-changing spells, right? In any case, we will see Cochrane for the first (and presumably last) time this Christmas, in the premiere of Harry Potter on HBO Max, which promises to capture all the audience’s attention… at least, for one weekend. We already know how this Internet thing works.
