Helldivers 2 patch 6.3.0 is out now: Galactic Campaigns, sturdier Exo-Suits

Patch 6.3.0 is live in Helldivers 2 today. Arrowhead Game Studios has packed it with Galactic Campaigns, tougher Exo-Suits and vehicles, a new fall forest biome, and a wider batch of balance changes.

For anyone following the Galactic War, the headline change is the overhaul to the Major Order system. Arrowhead says Campaigns now run for one to three weeks, and there’s a new Control Center terminal where players can check progress, rewards, and past campaigns right in the game. That should make the metagame a lot easier to keep up with, without having to lean on community guides.

Arrowhead also buffed Exo-Suit durability across the board. Total health goes from 1,600 to 1,800, arm health from 600 to 800, and leg health from 400 to 550. Cooldown has been cut too, from 10 minutes to 8. Beyond that, the studio has made changes to the Bastion tank, the FRV, orbital stratagem damage, and enemy armor.

If you play often, this one’s worth grabbing. It tackles some of the loudest complaints about pacing, progression, and balance after Helldivers 2 dropped into Mostly Negative territory on Steam, and the first reaction from players has been pretty encouraging.

You can download patch 6.3.0 now for Helldivers 2 on Steam and PS5. The game is still averaging more than 42,000 players on Steam over the last 30 days, and Arrowhead says progression updates are still coming, including a Personal Campaign Progression system that will replace Personal Orders in 2026.
