Calling all fans of The Elder Scrolls Online! A new chapter appeared for the MMORPG, taking you to a location called High Isles. As usual, Bethesda included a few new items, but the cherry on the cake is a new called game called Tales of Tribute.
Here’s the cinematic trailer for the latest release.
The Systres Archipelago offers gamers the first look at the Bretons’ homeland. For those who haven’t played the fantasy game yet, the race is a mixture of humans and elves. We’re going to see more of a political storyline with High Isles in The Elder Scrolls Online, as Gonfalon Bay is the primary seat of power in this region.
Another aspect you’ll need to be aware of is that many residents of the High Isles place ruthlessness over virtue, which means there’ll be sneaky trouble around every corner. You can trust no one in this Breton home, especially other gamers.
If you haven’t tuned into The Elder Scrolls Online for a while, you may have missed that Bethesda added a Companions feature where you’ll have a permanent follower. The High Isles chapter provides you with two new companions. Ember is a Khajit street magician while Isobel is a Breton who wants to be a heroic knight one day.
And the news doesn’t end there! After I updated The Elder Scrolls Online last night with the latest chapter, I went straight to trying out the new in-game card game called Tales of Tribute. You can play against NPCs and other online players, earning Prestige points when you win. There are new quests related to it, and you can compare your score on the leaderboard.
Alright, I can go on all day about the latest features, but they’re only available to players who buy the High Isles chapter for The Elder Scrolls Online. Here are some screenshots we received from Bethesda Studios to tease you further. While we wait for the next game, here’s an article on 5 ways Elder Scrolls 6 can improve from Skyrim.
