Ash’s farewell from Pokémon is proving to be tougher than Chanquete’s in “Verano Azul,” but it’s time to move on and understand that there are new protagonists in the world’s most popular anime for children. “Horizons Pokémon” is the new series that continues the adventures in this world full of amazing creatures, and its protagonists are the young Liko and Roy.

But when will we be able to watch “Horizons Pokémon” outside of Japan? Although the date has been a long time coming, we finally know when it will happen. And, of course, we’ll be able to see everything on Netflix, the streaming platform that acquired the rights to Pokémon a few years ago and airs everything as soon as possible.

The first Pokémon series without Ash

Netflix has chosen February 23, 2024, as the date to add “Horizons Pokémon” to its VOD service. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until next year to follow the adventures of our new protagonists. But in reality, there are just over two months left for this to become a reality.

This isn’t the only Pokémon update on Netflix. Very soon, “Pokémon Master Journeys,” an epilogue featuring Ash after becoming a champion, will arrive, bringing back legendary franchise characters like Brock and Misty. Additionally, at the end of this month, “The Pokémon Resort,” an intriguing series within the franchise, will show Pokémon having adventures at a resort to relax.

Here’s the synopsis of Pokémon Horizons, the fiction we’ve been eagerly anticipating: “A new adventure begins within the vast world of Pokémon! Upon arriving at the Indigo Academy, a girl named Liko receives her first Pokémon companion, Sprigatito. However, she’s soon pursued by the Explorers, a mysterious group determined to steal the pendant she’s been wearing for 2 days.”
