If you love watching Netflix but feel like the program doesn’t give you enough detail, try Netflix Plus. This handy Chrome extension adds IMDB ratings to all the Netflix titles.
Explore our guide to discover how to download it and what to do once you get it.
Add Netflix Plus to your Chrome browser

Start by downloading Netflix Plus. Click the blue Add to Chrome button to add the extension to your browser. Make sure you read the app’s permissions and click Add extension to approve the extension.
Reload your Netflix page

Chrome extensions are meant to run seamlessly, so you don’t have to do any complicated downloads. All you’ll need to do is reload your Netflix page, and you should immediately be able to access all the benefits of Netflix Plus. Keep in mind that some of your other extensions might not play well with this extension though. If you don’t see the change right away, turn off all other extensions besides Netflix Plus. Though not technically necessary, it can also be helpful to relaunch your Chrome browser as well.
Check IMDb ratings with ease

Once you have Netflix loaded, it’s easy to get more information on movies and shows. As you scroll through the homepage, look below the name of the show. Next to the play button, there will be a small yellow IMDb logo with a number. This number tells you the IMDb rating for the movie or show. It can be a great way to learn what other watchers think about it.
Watch trailers for the movie or show

Netflix does have some trailers available, but sometimes, these do not really tell you what you need to know about the movie or show. In these cases, click the red YouTube logo below the Netflix title. This will automatically redirect you to a YouTube video trailer. This can help you see a little more about what the movie or show is about.
Use Netflix Plus on any other computer

One of the great things about Chrome extensions is that they’re attached to your account, not your device. If you’re using another computer, you don’t have to add Netflix Plus all over again. Instead, you just need to login to your Google Chrome account. Once you do so, Netflix Plus will automatically start working on the new device.
