We are on the verge of Apple’s annual event for the launch of the new iPhone 16, scheduled for September 9th. An event that, in addition to the iPhones, will bring us the new versions of the AirPods and the Apple Watch and, on the other hand, will mark the end of the line for several products. Now or never for several iPhones, some Apple Watches, the AirPods without the Pro label, and maybe some iPads

Since the release of the iPhone XS and XR in 2018, Apple has adopted the policy of discontinuing the most advanced iPhone models when launching new models. If they continue with the same strategy this year, we could be saying goodbye to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. However, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will remain in the catalog, as usual.

The iPhone 14 Plus is the next item on the list. The one that was the first recent iPhone to bring back the Plus name should disappear from Apple’s catalog. Especially considering that last year, we said goodbye to the iPhone 13 mini while its sibling, the iPhone 13, remained available. Finally, in the field of iPhones we find the iPhone 13, the oldest model still sold by Apple. With its initial price now reduced, it is very likely that it will no longer be available to make way for the new generations.
