In a year we will be able to see the anime of Kagurabachi, and the creative team makes us trust

The successful manga series ‘Kagurabachi’, which has dominated the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine for the past three years, is finally being adapted into an anime. The official announcement has been just what fans were hoping for, confirming the long-awaited adaptation.

The great baggage of the director

The animation of ‘Kagurabachi’ will be handled by CygamePictures, a relatively young studio but with a promising catalog that includes ‘The Summer When Hikaru Died’. Despite its short history, CygamePictures has proven its ability to create quality content, which tells us that ‘Kagurabachi’ will be no exception.

The project director is Tetsuya Takeuchi, a renowned director known for his work on ‘Heavenly Delusion’, as well as iconic series like ‘Haikyuu!!’ and ‘Naruto’, where he made his mark by animating memorable moments. His experience promises a strong direction that could elevate the quality of the series.

In addition, the character design will be handled by Keigo Sasaki, known for his work on ‘Erased’ and ‘Shingeki no Kyojin’. The choice of Taihi Kimura to voice Chihiro Rokuhira is also a great decision and makes us trust this adaptation.

With the premiere scheduled for April 2027, the development of ‘Kagurabachi’ has been underway for some time. The strong fan base and the creative team behind this project generate excitement for what promises to be one of the most anticipated anime adaptations in the coming years.
