Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is doing well. Released last Monday for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC, it is being well-received by critics and audiences alike. And it’s no wonder. It’s an excellent game, visually stunning, that takes the archaeologist on a new and exciting adventure. And it might not be the last.

In an interview with Variety, the vice president and general manager of Lucasfilm Games, Douglas Reilly, said he sees potential in their relationship with MachineGames. He believes it would be super interesting to tell more and more Indiana Jones stories. At least if Indiana Jones and the Great Circle ends up performing well in terms of numbers. Something that remains to be seen.

For now, we have DLC in sight

Meanwhile, at MachineGames, the development studio, they are already working on more Indiana Jones. Because they are working on their first and currently only DLC, named The Order of Giants. Axel Torvenius, the company’s creative director, has said that it will be a “unique experience heavily based on narrative that will fit very well with the main campaign.” So it seems that, at least for now, we have Indiana Jones for a while.
