Image sharing app Instagram is getting five all new photo filters today. Starting today, users will start to see these filters appear when editing: Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden, and Perpetua.
What are the best Instagram Filters? And the best ones for food?
The filters look really good and mobile photographers should be able to create some stunning looking images. The filters remind me a lot of those found in VSCO Cam (Android | iOS). VSCO still offers a ton more filters, but you’ll have to pay for most of them.
The new ‘Slumber’ filter.
Instagram is also changing previews for the filters, giving you a blurred thumbnail of the filter in the filter tray. This gives you an idea of the colors the filters will generate without having you agonize about the details.
Last but not least, you’ll finally be able to reorganize filters to your liking. There’s a new Manage button next to the last filter, which pulls up a list of all your filters. You can drag and drop to rearrange the order as well as hide ones that you don’t use.
You can find the Instagram update in your app store app on your phone but if you haven’t downloaded it yet, you can do so below.
