September 12 is already marked on the calendar of all tech enthusiasts as the day Apple will unveil its latest innovations. The anticipation is high, and the speculation about what will be presented is even more intense. Among the most anticipated announcements is the unveiling of the iPhone 15 series. In this regard, does the Wonderlust event invitation give us any clues about the colors in which the new iPhone 15 Pro will be available? Let’s see what we know so far.
The Wonderlust Invitation
Apple has always been very careful with details, and their event invitations are no exception. Usually, any hints they might contain, if any, are not deducible before the event. It’s only after the event that we can draw conclusions.
However, this year, the invitation displays a color palette in the form of dust that forms the Apple logo. This visual representation has led many to speculate that these colors are indeed a hint about the color options of the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro.
Color conjectures and leaks
In recent weeks, several leakers and analysts have tentatively confirmed the same color range for the iPhone 15 Pro models. It’s expected that the device will feature a new titanium frame instead of stainless steel, which is notably novel. The anticipated colors are:
- Natural Titanium
- Dark Titanium
- Dark Blue
- Star White
These are precisely the colors that form the apple on the invitation. In fact, this invitation might also be concealing another detail: the material. Titanium, in its industrial form, can appear as powder. The glossy yet matte aesthetic of the apple is reminiscent of this material.

Its true that without the leaks we’ve been seeing in recent weeks, we wouldn’t be able to deduce this fact. It’s also true that we might be fitting what we see in the invitation into what we believe we know about the new iPhone 15. But the coincidence, in any case, is more curious than in previous invitations.
Furthermore, is there anything else in the invitation that could give us more clues? Some suggest that playing with the words “Wonder” and “Wanderlust” could indicate improvements in the device’s photographic capabilities. Let’s remember that there are rumors that the Pro Max model could incorporate a periscope lens with an optical zoom of between 6x and 10x.
To wrap up, while there could be many reasons for that small detail, another interesting aspect is the absence of the Augmented Reality Easter Egg in the invitation. It’s a feature we had become accustomed to in previous invitations, and its disappearance might be related to Apple’s already celebrated announcement of the Vision Pro, focused on Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality applications.
Without a doubt, delving into the analysis of Apple’s Wonderlust event invitation is quite tempting, but it’s wise not to get carried away too much by speculations. However, it does seem likely, given what we’ve seen, that the invitation is at least suggesting the color options for the new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, which is clearly of interest to many prospective buyers who are already considering their choices.
The official confirmation will only be known on September 12th. For now, all we can do is wait and see if our conjectures and expectations come true. But one thing is certain: Apple’s Wonderlust event promises to deliver more than one surprise.
