Recently, Pearl Abyss has released three minor updates, known as hotfixes, in a short period of time, which has generated mixed opinions among players.

Among the most notable fixes are difficulties using mounts, specifically the polar bear, errors in material refining, and a bug that caused certain bosses not to move at key moments. Additionally, the next update, 1.01.03, is expected to arrive soon to address more bugs.

Despite the studio’s evident dedication to improving the game, some players argue that Crimson Desert was released prematurely. The vast amount of content and the multiple reported issues suggest that the title is still not fully ready for the public.

On the other hand, other community members appreciate Pearl Abyss’s effort to quickly fix bugs and allow for a more polished experience.

However, the aspect of the translations has raised significant criticism, with inappropriate changes to key terms of the game. For example, the term “Spirit” was replaced with “Dishware,” leaving many players confused. The lack of translators seems to be one of the obstacles the studio faces in its effort to elevate the quality of the game.
