It’s official now: Marvel is going to show us all its secret projects before long

It’s undeniable that Marvel Studios isn’t exactly at its best right now. The movies are making less and less money, the TV series come and go without much notice, and there are even some doubts that Avengers: Doomsday will make as much as the previous installments in the saga made. However, everything could change next July 25, a day we’d do well to mark on our calendars: Marvel’s return to Comic-Con.

The return of the king

Exactly two years have passed since Robert Downey Jr got up on stage as Dr. Doom, but Marvel finally has something new to show beyond Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the two new Avengers films and its series, like VisionQuest and Daredevil (season 3). At this point, no one knows whether Kevin Feige is going to reveal everything Marvel has planned for the coming years, from X-Men to Black Panther 3, or whether he’ll limit himself to giving a couple of clues.

At the very least, from a fan perspective, they could start telling us what will happen after the Multiverse saga that has given them so many headaches: The mutant era? A new Deadpool movie? A Young Avengers team? And what about Miles Morales? Just in case, if you’re planning to go to Comic-Con, I’d advise you not to try to get into Hall H to see it, because it’s going to be absolutely packed.

It’s too early to know whether Marvel is back or whether this is just a mirage, but things certainly look great. After the Superman and DC scare, is it time to reclaim the crown?
