The newest version of iTunes, 11.1.3 brings some relatively small improvements to the music software, but they’re ones that true music fans will appreciate. The equalizer function has been tweaked to make sure it works like you’re expecting. There have also been other minor bug fixes, including better performance (read: quicker response) when when switching views, especially useful for larger libraries. Nothing revolutionary, but welcome nonetheless.

The update comes a bare two weeks after the launch of Mavericks. Apple surprised users by releasing the newest version of Mac for free.
