Katy Perry wants to leave American Idol after six years for fear that producers will “throw her under the bus” over and over again, as she believes they are leaving her as the classic and necessary “bad judge.”

The 38-year-old pop star has faced a series of controversies and scandals this season, and according to experts has grown tired of dealing with viewer backlash, reaching the point of no return when she was booed for criticizing the contestants.
