LEGO Donkey Kong Arcade leak surfaces: retro cabinet and moving Jumpman

Reddit leak posts are pointing to a LEGO Donkey Kong Arcade set for August 2026, and if they’re accurate, this looks very different from the bigger, more toy-like LEGO Super Mario sets released so far. The rumored build is based on the 1981 arcade cabinet.

The leak reports describe it as a display-focused model with 1,367 pieces, along with brick-built versions of Donkey Kong, Jumpman, and Pauline. It’s also said to include a barrel-dropping mechanism and a joystick that moves Jumpman, recreating the feel of the original arcade game. Those same reports put the release in August 2026 at $199.99 in the US, €169.99 in Europe, and £149.99 in the UK.

If you collect LEGO’s retro gaming sets, this may be one to keep an eye on. On paper, it sounds much closer to the adult-leaning LEGO Nintendo Entertainment System, Atari 2600, and Pac-Man Arcade sets than to the earlier Donkey Kong expansion courses, while still landing in the premium price range LEGO usually reserves for its nostalgia-driven lineup.

Still, treat it as unconfirmed for now. Neither the LEGO Group nor Nintendo has announced the set, and the reported name, features, price, piece count, and release window all come from leaks. If the set does turn out to be real, you’d most likely be buying it through LEGO.
