HBO Max is going to cease to exist very soon, being replaced by the new platform Max, which will debut new releases such as the Harry Potter series, the new Game of Thrones spin-off, the anime version of Rick and Morty, and The Penguin, the series about the villain seen in Matt Reeves’ The Batman.
This change will take some time to reach Spain and Europe, with the transition happening in January 2024. However, it has become a reality starting today, May 23rd, in the United States. Alongside the exciting things to come, the platform will offer 220 titles available in 4K through the Ultimate Ad-Free subscription of Max.
Which titles are coming to Max in 4k?
This subscription tier will cost US users $19.99 per month or $199.99 per year, and it is expected to have a similar conversion to euros. Among the list of 4K series and movies are the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings films, as well as series like Game of Thrones and The Last of Us.
