Making animated GIFS doesn’t have to be difficult. There are plenty of websites that can turn photos and videos into animated GIFS but they still take a bit of effort. But there’s an easier way to do it; all you have to do is change the URL.
When you’re on YouTube watching a video and want to turn part of the video into an animated GIF, type “gif” in front of “youtube” in the video URL. For example, this URL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5i-RJ3ATSY&list=UUDvJQzC6YfBdOmrbQGUekOg turns into https://www.gifyoutube.com/watch?v=t5i-RJ3ATSY&list=UUDvJQzC6YfBdOmrbQGUekOg.
After a short wait, your video will load and you can select the start time and length of the GIF (between 1 and 10 seconds). When you’re happy with the result, click Create GIF and wait a little more. The site will automatically generate an image for you, which you can download or link to directly.
The site lacks customization or more advanced features but that’s the point. It’ll help you make and share animated GIFS quickly. You can share your creations directly to Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and Tumblr.
