Miami Heat and GTA 6 announce Vice City night for Nov. 18

The Miami Heat and Rockstar Games are teaming up for A Night in Vice City, a one-off Grand Theft Auto 6 promotion set for the Heat’s home game against the Milwaukee Bucks at Kaseya Center in Miami on November 18, 2026.

For one night, the arena gets a Vice City makeover: a themed court, reworked Heat uniforms, and in-arena activations, all folded into a nationally televised ESPN broadcast. It lands just hours before the East Coast midnight launch, so this is a lot more than the usual theme-night packaging.

The matchup makes sense on its face. Rockstar’s Miami-flavored Vice City has a natural overlap with the Heat’s long-running Vice identity. Back in 2018, the team’s original Vice jerseys reportedly outsold every other NBA City Edition uniform in their first season, based on reports from the time. Rockstar is also pushing the campaign beyond game night with the much-discussed Welcome to Vice City roof sign at Kaseya Center, a display widely reported to be worth nearly $1 million.

The Heat will also sell a Vice City Collection through Court Culture. And if you’re planning to load into Grand Theft Auto 6 at launch, this crossover is worth keeping an eye on, even if the full financial terms still haven’t been disclosed, the bigger long-term play isn’t clear yet, and there’s still the question of whether an NBA tie-in brings criticism because of the series’ crime-and-violence focus.

Grand Theft Auto 6 hits PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19.
