During today’s Apple WWDC, we got a surprise visit from Minecraft developers who finally gave us some live gameplay of Minecraft Earth.

Read now ►While showing off the capabilities of the iPad, developers played the game for audience members. As a world of blocks and wonders arose from the ground around them, we were boarding the hype train.
The two developers fumbled through a game a bit, but putting their awkwardness aside, we were able to see some of the game’s cool features.

Minecraft Earth brings the game to AR
Read now ►Your world pops out of the ground wherever you are. If you want a good look at your what you’re making, you can make it emerge from a coffee table for a tinier view. If you want it to be life-sized, you can make it erupt from the ground on which you’re standing, and put yourself in the world.
Like we had hoped, you can still build your own fortresses, raise pigs and chickens, and fight skeletons and Creepers. You even get your usual toolbar for crafting and adventuring. We still are craving more details, but this surprise visit definitely hyped us up.
