There aren’t many examples of big budget 3D games that improve when ‘demade’ into 2D, but Mirror’s Edge does exactly that. The original was an excellent but perhaps over ambitious free running game. The iOS version takes the great looks of the original and makes a fast paced platformer out of it. You can get this great iOS game for free, today only!
The iPad version just has the edge in my opinion, as the bigger screen is better for executing the gestures for the different moves, but both are a lot of fun. If you enjoy Canabalt, Mirror’s Edge will suit you down to the ground.
