With each iteration of the iPhone, Apple changes the colors available, often introducing a special one or a new set that differentiate the new iPhones from the older models. With the iPhone 14 Pro, Apple introduced a dark purple, while the standard iPhone 14 came in purple.
As expected, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 and 15 Pro will also come in unique colors. An anonymous source has told 9to5Mac that Apple has reportedly introduced a new shade of burgundy-like red for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. The hex code for the color is #410D0D, described as a “dark sienna.”
On the other hand, standard iPhone 15 models could be available in new colors such as dark pink and bright light blue. The pink shade (hexadecimal color code #CE3C6C) would be a more intense color, described as “telemagenta”. The blue (hexadecimal color code #4DB1E2) is described as “picton blue”.

New red for PRODUCT(RED) editions?
It is expected that the new dark red shade that Apple might have planned for the iPhone 15 Pro will be the one carried by the (PRODUCT)RED devices. Along with this color, we will most likely see the usual shades closer to silver/gold and space gray. Another of the most repeated rumors is that the iPhone 15s could have more color options, including colors similar to red, black and white.
Apple would offer the “burgundy” shade for the rumored titanium finish of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. So far, Apple has released titanium Apple Watch models but in silver tones. If the rumors end up becoming reality, the red anodizing would be a whole new bet.
However, we can’t claim victory just yet: according to 9to5Mac’s source, information on color options is “still early” and “could change” as fall approaches.
Apple plans the devices well in advance of their launch, so it is likely that the final designs will be finalized in the not too distant future. The colors of the iPhone have always been a very important part of these and Apple has used it on more than one occasion as a marketing gimmick (as happened with the lilac color of the iPhone 13).
