It’s not a Tekken without Nina Williams. This is an unwritten rule that Tekken players know, so it was only a matter of time before the assassin appeared in Tekken 8. And it’s done: Bandai Namco showed her off in an incredible gameplay last night.

In this first video we can see many details of this new Nina Williams. The first, and most obvious, is that she has undergone an incredible visual redesign. Now, the assassin appears in a stunning ball gown, wearing heels, dark sunglasses and a leather jacket. She does, however, wear her fighting gloves for when the occasion arises (i.e., always).

As for the combat, Nina Williams shows off her main combos, that is, they will be very familiar to you if you play Tekken since a while ago. Likewise, her pistols also appear to chain the corresponding combos, so there is much desire to know how they will be able to be used now.

An Akuma, winner of the year

The reveal of Nina Williams as a playable character in Tekken 8 took place during the Tekken World Tour 2022. The Tekken World Championship awarded Ashes | Atif Butt as the best player of the past year. However, it had a peculiarity: the Asian player won with an Akuma.

It is peculiar that one of the most representative characters of Street Fighter was the one who carried the baton in the final of Tekken.
