While horror is subjective, if this genre has a father, it is undoubtedly Stephen King. The Maine-based writer has spent his entire life captivating the general audience with stories like It, Carrie, Misery, or The Shining. Moreover, he has achieved this not only through his novels but also in the subsequent adaptations of his films, making him the most adapted writer in the genre.
That’s why when Stephen King likes something, we all open our eyes wide to see what he says. It happened with Stranger Things and Money Heist, and now it has happened with a horror movie that has just been released in the United States on the Hulu platform: No One Will Save You.
A classic but extremely modern film
“No One Will Save You” is a film directed by Brian Duffield (The Babysitter) that has been released outside the United States on Disney Plus. The movie features a cast led by Kaitlyn Dever, Ginger Cressman, and Zack Duhame, and its synopsis is as follows:
Brynn is a brilliant young woman who lives isolated from a neighborhood that has shunned her. Solitary but optimistic, she finds comfort in the house where she grew up until strange noises wake her up. These noises come from intruders who appear to be supernatural. Brynn confronts extraterrestrials that threaten her future and force her to confront her past.

Apparently, Stephen King has found this film thrilling. So much so that he has shared it on social media, making it clear that it is one of the best horror movies of 2023.
NO ONE WILL SAVE YOU: Brilliant, daring, immersive, terrifying. You have to go back over 60 years, to an episode of TWILIGHT ZONE called ‘The Invaders,’ to find something remotely similar.
