Dorohedoro is an adaptation of the manga by Q Hayashida and tells the journey of Caiman, a man transformed into a creature with a reptilian head, as he tries to unravel the mysteries of his past in a world filled with dark magic and curses. The return of the series will also feature the original voice cast, including Wataru Takagi as Caiman, Reina Kondo as Nikaido, and Kenyu Horiuchi as En, ensuring that fans will enjoy the same tone that characterized the first season.

In addition, director Yuichiro Hayashi and screenwriter Hiroshi Seko will reprise their roles, ensuring the creative continuity that fans value so much. The character design will be handled by Tomohiro Kishi, who has been a key part in building this visually intriguing and peculiar universe.

One of the most exciting news for this second season is the change in its distribution. The first season was exclusive to Netflix; however, starting March 8, the series is expected to be available on other unconfirmed streaming platforms. It has been hinted that the second season will also follow a multi-platform release model, which could significantly expand its audience.
