The hype for Avengers: Doomsday is higher than ever. It feels close and everything is starting to head towards the event-movie of the year. This also includes the movies and series of the MCU itself.
Which includes the actors from the universe talking about what they can regarding the movie, adding some interesting details about what we can expect.
A battle of titans
Pedro Pascal has spoken with the media JeuxActu and stated that “I wouldn’t even know where to start” when talking about everything that happens between Reed Richards, the leader of the Fantastic Four, and Doctor Doom, the villain of the new movie.Additionally, he added that “we have already filmed, but I haven’t seen anything yet. I can’t wait”. Demonstrating that the hype is not just a fan thing: it’s also for the actors.
This is not surprising for anyone who knows their relationship in the comics. Doom and Richards are two characters who are historically rivals in the comics, being one of the most famous and recognized rivalries within the Marvel universe. It makes sense that, given the introduction of both characters in the MCU, they not only meet but that their encounter is substantial. Or more likely, a clash.
To find out how it will unfold, we will still have to wait a few months. Avengers: Doomsday will premiere on December 18 in theaters. But even though there are a little over six months until its release, we can expect to learn some more information by then.
