Pixel 11 leak points to 30x zoom upgrade: HiLight may stay Pro-only

Leaks ahead of launch say Google’s Pixel 11 line may give the regular model a 30x Super Zoom boost. The rumored HiLight notification system, though, still looks set to stay a Pro-only feature, limited to the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL.

Based on the latest leak, Google seems ready to draw a clearer line between the models. HiLight is said to sit in the camera bar as a dedicated alert light on the Pixel 11 Pro phones, which would leave the regular Pixel 11 without it. The standard model may still have a better camera story than expected, since the same leaks also mention 120x zoom on the Pro models, Tensor G6 across the full lineup, and 256GB of storage as the starting point. Those spec numbers sound good on paper, but real image quality, stability, and processing will matter more than the headline figures.

If you’re interested in the cheaper Google Pixel 11, it could still be one to watch for the zoom and storage upgrades alone. You may just have to accept that the more distinctive hardware feature stays on the Pro side, and that prices could climb across the whole range.

You can’t buy the Google Pixel 11 lineup yet, and for now all of this comes from pre-launch leaks about Google’s next phones.
