Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the sequel to Into the Spider-Verse that has just been released in theaters, is grabbing everyone’s attention not only for its great storyline and special effects but also for its music. As we saw in the first movie, one of the specialties of Miles Morales‘ Spider-Man is his passion for music, so the soundtrack had to be outstanding.
Now the full list of songs for the movie has been revealed, so we’ll leave it here with a link to Spotify for you to enjoy. Undoubtedly, it is a very interesting musical choice, reminiscent of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and it adds greater depth and immersion to the film.
Daniel Pemberton, the composer of the film, has spoken about the soundtrack to Rolling Stone, saying, “Throughout this film, there are so many different noises, themes, and sounds that are interconnected… It’s been really tricky. There are rhythms that interlink with rhythms elsewhere.
There are melodic ideas that represent characters, represent story rhythms, represent concepts within the movie. And some of them are linked in very obvious ways. Others are linked in ways that you’d really have to pay attention to notice. But hopefully, it ties the whole film together to make it a very cohesive universe, both sonically and visually.”
