PlayStation announces a new peripheral inspired by GTA 6

Sony held a State of Play on September 3 with barely any new announcements, focused mainly on giving us another look at some of the titles already announced. While it wasn’t the most exciting event they’ve put on in recent years, leaving most fans disappointed, there was one big winner, because the most anticipated game of the year appeared: GTA VI. Though it only as a peripheral.

A controller for GTA fans

Because Sony announced a new GTA 6 edition DualSense. With designs inspired by the game screen-printed across the controller and the logo engraved on the touchpad, it’s the perfect controller for those who just can’t wait any longer for the game. A perfect combination of elegance and attitude with its purple neon accents.

This controller will be available to pre-order starting September 10 on PlayStation Direct, but it won’t go on sale until November 19, when the game officially goes on sale. Although you’ll have to pay up to get it: the controller will cost €84.99. A price that, to be fair, is the standard for PlayStation 5 limited-edition controllers. So if you’re eagerly awaiting GTA 6, this is a perfect companion for the game.
