Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: 7-Star Magikarp leaves in less than 24 hours

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s current Nintendo Switch event schedule shows the 7-Star Magikarp Tera Raid ending at 4:59 p.m. PT on August 6, 2026, so players have until then to claim the event-exclusive reward.

The current event notice also points to an unusual Magikarp carrying the Mightiest Mark. That same cutoff applies to the Kitakami Mass Outbreak event for White-Striped Basculin and Feebas, which raises both encounter rates and shiny odds for those harder-to-find Pokémon.

Once 7-Star Magikarp leaves the rotation, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet rolls straight into its next batch of live events, running from August into early September 2026. First up is a 7-Star Grass Tera-type Glimmora with the Mightiest Mark, then come Annihilape, Farigiraf, and Kingambit raids, along with matching Mass Outbreaks for their pre-evolved forms and better odds of finding special Marks.

For players who chase rare Marks, limited-time raid bosses, or Pokémon that don’t show up often, this is one to catch before the timer runs out. These events don’t last long, and there’s no promise the same rewards will circle back anytime soon.

You can jump into the current events right now in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet on Nintendo Switch through the in-game Tera Raid Battle and Mass Outbreak features.
