Amazon’s Prime Day, known for its discounts on a wide range of products, reaches every year more than its own platform by reaching other services outside Amazon. Like other years, this year the discounts have extended to the App Store and apps for our iPhone, iPad or Mac, where more than 100 applications from independent developers offer significant discounts.
A list with several outstanding applications
The list of applications and discounts is both extensive and generous. Starting today, the promotion lasts 48 hours, until 23:59 tomorrow, July 12. There are, among all, some applications that should be highlighted:
- MacWhisper Pro: An application with which we can transcribe any text, with OpenAi’s Whisper platform. An app that we can buy for only 10 euros, a 50% discount on the usual price.
- Calzy: an excellent calculator application for our iPhone. Detailed calculation records, bookmarks, customizable in almost all aspects and much more make the purchase for $ 2.99 a great opportunity.

Undoubtedly, among the more than 100 applications and services listed here, we will be able to find something of our interest.
Remember, moreover, that we are talking about Indie, independent developers, not large development studios with multimillion-dollar apps. In this sense, while for us these two days of Prime Day are an excellent opportunity to get great apps at attractive prices, these purchases also support small development teams.
Teams that, many times, offer us small solutions to situations that larger studios would not even consider tackling. A mutual benefit that, with the excuse of Amazon’s discount days, we all enjoy now.
Concluding Prime Day without exploring these app discounts – and those on these headphones or this laptop – is not a very good idea.
