Prime Video’s Ride Or Die arrived on July 15, 2026. It’s an eight-episode action-comedy with Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham, and it already looks like one of the streamer’s biggest new U.S. titles.
Early reviews have pushed it to a 96% score on Rotten Tomatoes. That kind of start has turned it into one of Prime Video’s biggest new shows of 2026, with reports saying it’s outpacing several recent launches and has also broken into the top 10 in 49 countries.
Spencer and Waddingham play Debbie and Judith, two best friends, and that pairing seems to be the whole hook. Their chemistry looks like the thing people are really locking into.
The premise drops Debbie and Judith into chaos when one of them is exposed as a highly skilled assassin. From there, the show sends them across Europe in a fast-moving adventure packed with fights, close calls, and comedy. It plays like an action romp , a star-powered binge, and the kind of series that leans more on personality than spectacle.
Tessa Coates created the series. Matt Miller is the showrunner. Spencer and Waddingham also serve as executive producers.
If you’re into action-comedies, this looks like an easy one to queue up. Prime Video still hasn’t confirmed a second season, even with the cliffhanger ending, strong viewership, and word of mouth picking up quickly.
You can stream Ride Or Die now on Prime Video.
