The most anticipated moment for PlayStation Plus subscribers is about to arrive: Sony is getting ready to announce the full PS Plus Essentials catalog for April 2023 and there’s a lot of game on the grill.
If you are eager to know the free PS4 and PS5 games for April 2023, the good news is that you don’t have to wait long. Sony will announce the PlayStation Plus Essentials catalog on March 29 at 5:30 p.m. PST. The games will be available for download less than a week later, on April 4 in the morning.
Two highly anticipated games and a third in contention for PS5
So that we don’t get bogged down, let’s put the three in ascending order of importance. Interestingly, the least expected is the one that is already official, as Sony has revealed one of the three games that will arrive on PS Plus April 2023:
Meet Your Maker
This new game is described as a first-person raiding and building title, where the goal is to create impenetrable outposts for other players to overcome. You can share your outposts online and raid other creations for rewards and inspiration.
Outposts can also be modified and upgraded once they are online. For example, if people get through certain sections smoothly, you can make them more difficult by adding new obstacles and enemies. This game is the only official game that we know of coming out on PS Plus.
Returnal is not coming!
It was the cover of 2021 and it’s not fair, since this Double A managed to keep the PS5 level in a very weak year for PlayStation. Returnal is a roguelike third-person shooter video game, developed by Housemarque and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
The objective is to break an infinite cycle on an alien planet, return home and find out what happened to that civilization. This game is one of the bets. It is not a sure thing.
But yes Sackboy: A Big Adventure
You will be amaze by Sackboy: a Big Adventure. A differente game from what we know, as in this game, Sackboy is the absolutely Star and even it is able to play through levels while you are listening Bruno Mars.
