Red Dead Online offers a free This Guy Emote this week: claim it by September 14

Rockstar Games has rolled out this week’s Red Dead Online update, and September’s Moonshiner event is the main draw. From now through October 5, Moonshiner Sales pay out 3x RDO$, Role XP, and standard XP. There’s also a free This Guy Emote up for grabs if you unlock it between September 8 and September 14, according to Rockstar.

Finish a Moonshiner Sale during that September 8 to 14 window and you’ll get the This Guy Emote. Rockstar also says the rewards lined up for September 15 through October 5 are the Black Woodland Gloves, Blue Plaid Cap, and Black Winter Shotgun Coat. Earlier in the month, from September 1 to 7, players got the Ta-Da Emote.

The bonuses don’t stop with sales. Moonshiner Story Missions and Free Roam Missions are also paying extra, and Featured Series playlists are handing out 3x RDO$ and XP through October 5. That includes Hardcore Plunder and Spoils of War, Lemoyne, Hardcore Last Stand, Ambarino, and Hardcore Pro, Rockstar says.

If you’re still checking in on Rockstar’s online western, this one’s probably worth claiming. Red Dead Redemption 2 is still one of the studio’s most celebrated games, and Arthur Morgan’s story still carries a lot of that weight. Add in these monthly event rotations, and Red Dead Online keeps some life in it, even if it’s never had the same level of support as Grand Theft Auto Online.

You can jump in now through Red Dead Online inside Red Dead Redemption 2.
