Nicolas Cage has once again played a mythical role in a movie that will be remembered as much for the memes as for his amazing performance. The Hollywood actor often surprises us with a new crazy role, and in the last one he played Dracula himself.

The Leaving Las Vegas and Ghost Rider actor plays the vampire count himself in Renfield, a comedy film starring Nicholas Hoult and directed by Chris McKay -director of Batman: The LEGO Movie, the Dark Knight’s best film-. The trailer is a marvel and the movie has just been released in theaters. But when will it be released on platforms?

When is Renfield released on streaming platforms?

We’re used to Warner or Disney movies being released after just two months – or even less, sometimes in as little as a month – on their respective platforms: HBO Max and Disney Plus. However, this is not the case for all films, and in fact Avatar 2 will still have to wait.

In the case of Renfield, since it belongs to Universal, it is not linked to any of these platforms, so it is not known when it will be released. It is most likely that in approximately one month it will be released for purchase or rental and then it will remain on one of them on a fixed basis.

On which platform will Renfield be released?

If Renfield follows as planned by the other streaming platforms, it will likely be available for purchase and rental on Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV+ in less than a month, to come to Netflix or Prime after some time – perhaps a couple more months.
