In recent days, players of Resident Evil Requiem have been dealing with a puzzle that has unleashed a torrent of confusion in the community. Known as the “Final Puzzle,” this challenge has led fans to dedicate time and effort to finding its solution, even creating an exclusive subreddit to discuss it.
Although the game was released just three days ago, the complexity of the puzzle has made many consider it a matter of life or death in the world of video games.
Data mining helps a lot
Finally, the mystique surrounding the puzzle came to an end on March 2 thanks to two players, Kyro and Rantsycancy, who managed to decipher the complicated riddle using data-mining techniques.
In his YouTube video, Kyro mentions: “I know this may not make sense, but it comes from a data mining background, so just trust me.” However, the first player to present a similar video was Gengar Collects, a Pokémon card collector, who on March 1 explored what he claimed to be the solution, although he was initially dismissed by the community.
The steps to complete the puzzle are as unusual as the challenge itself. They involve, among other things, waiting 15 minutes in a specific area and performing curious actions like flushing a toilet several times, which has inspired numerous jokes about its relation to the time players spend in the bathroom.
One of the most commented responses on YouTube mocks how the solution “really required a considerable amount of time in the bathroom.”
Additionally, the game has also revealed an intriguing twist in the story suggesting that Leon Kennedy, a key character in the saga, might be married. Speculations about the identity of his spouse have begun, with some fans joking that Chris Redfield could be the lucky one.
Overall, Resident Evil Requiem continues to capture the attention of its followers, not only for its gameplay but also for its narrative complexities and unimaginable challenges.
