Resident Evil Requiem resurfaces: Leon actor reveals cut spider one-liner

Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem popped back up in the news today after Nick Apostolides, Leon S. Kennedy’s actor, shared a line that got cut: “You know, you’ve been a real itsy-bitsy pain in my ass,” a quip written for a fight against a large spider-like creature.

Apostolides added, “It would have been a banger,” and it’s easy to see why fans grabbed onto it so fast across social media. It sounds exactly like classic Leon: calm when things are going sideways, a little smug, and always ready with the kind of dry, goofy combat banter that lets Resident Evil sit somewhere between straight horror and full B-movie camp.
