We have to thank the mods that expand games we may have set aside. And fans of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim now have a new reason to return to explore Tamriel, thanks to the release of the Olenveld mod, an ambitious creation by modder F0RCEFI3LD. This mod presents itself as an expansion that adds an area the size of a small DLC, offering a new quest line and an island recapture system that will enrich the gaming experience at no additional cost.
You will explore the island of Olenveld… And you will have plenty to do there
Olenveld is an island located north of Winterhold, a place that was historically used by Tiber Septim as a burial ground for those fallen in his conquests. This mod, which took over 3,000 hours to complete, is inspired by the book The Exodus, found within the game itself. With its arrival, players are invited to explore an environment full of history and mystery.
Unlike the well-known role of Dragonborn in the base game, players in Olenveld will have to face their challenges as mere mortals. This includes confronting undead enemies and making decisions that will affect the state of the island. Throughout their adventure, players will be able to access new equipment designed to aid their survival and exploration.
The introduction of this mod not only expands the world of Skyrim, but also highlights the commitment of the gaming community to keep the interest in this iconic RPG alive. With Olenveld, Bethesda fans have a fresh and exciting experience ahead of them, promising to revitalize their adventures in a world that continues to surprise them, years after its original release.
