It hasn’t made much noise today, but a new installment of one of the best motorcycle video games we have has been announced. Ride 5 is now official. In addition, it does so loaded with information, since the studio has waited to have things very clear to announce everything, including the release date: it will be available this August 24 for PlayStation 5, Xbox X | S Series and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). In this way, the game remains exclusive to the new generation of consoles.

This fifth part of the saga, which arrives three years after the previous release, incorporates many new features. We already know that we will have a career mode where up to 10 rivals will compete with their own characteristics. All this will shape the more than 200 existing playable challenges, among which races and time trials stand out.

According to the press release provided, the race mode will be guided by a narrator so that we don’t miss any detail. The good thing is that if we miss that detail, the game incorporates a race rewind to give more control and flexibility.

But the news does not end here. We already know that we will have cross-play between consoles, so that PS5 players will be able to compete against Xbox players (and vice versa). In addition, there will also be split screen for two players, an editor mode to create races at will (and scenarios) and customization of motorcycles, overalls and much more.

All this will come garnished, as it could not be otherwise, with dreamy graphics. In fact, not launching it on previous-generation consoles suggests that they wanted to fully exploit the potential of PS5, Xbox Series and PC without being weighed down by PS4 or Xbox One.
