Riot Games increases the price in all their games

Inflation is an inevitable fact. Over time, currency loses value, prices rise, and wages seemingly remain static. While we won’t be discussing economics or politics here, one thing is clear: companies want to make more money, or at least the same amount as before. That’s why it shouldn’t surprise us when online service-based companies decide to raise their prices, as has been the case with Riot.

Riot Games has announced changes in the regional pricing of their in-game currencies. This will affect all their games, though not necessarily every region where these games are available. While the USA and the UK won’t be impacted by this, several Latin American territories will be affected. These are the changes, according to each game and region:

This price increase will become official on September 18. Until then, starting from September 4 at 6:00 PM Central European Time, all purchases will come with a special bonus. However, this will only apply to regions where a price increase is planned. So, if you’re in one of the affected regions and were thinking about buying Riot currency, now is the ideal time to do so before prices rise significantly.
