Roblox updates reporting system: now you get action alerts

Roblox has updated its user-reporting system. The changes include report feedback, moderation notifications, and a redesigned reporting flow.

The company says you’ll now get updates when action is taken on a report, along with prompts for what to do next, like blocking another user. The reporting form also changes its questions based on the issue you’re flagging, which should make reports quicker to file and give moderators more useful information.

This sits inside Roblox’s broader safety push, which also includes age verification, age-based experiences, stronger parental controls, and compliance measures tied to the UK and Australia. It also arrives while lawmakers, watchdog groups, and parents keep pushing the platform over moderation, harmful content, and child safety. Roblox says it built these tools with input from its Teen Council. The company also says its moderation system already depends on thousands of trained professionals, plus automated checks that scan every uploaded image, audio file, and video before anything goes live.

If you use Roblox a lot, this is probably worth a look. Clearer follow-up could make people more willing to report abuse, scams, or inappropriate content. Roblox still hasn’t shared public numbers showing whether the new system actually improves report quality, increases reporting volume, or speeds up response times.
