google iconGoogle’s Android assistant could be making its way to any browser, a new leak reveals. There have already been rumors that iOS users would be getting Google Now and now the Google Operating System blog has found code in a Google test page (which has been taken down) that points to Google Now’s integration with the Google home page. This means Google is ready to bring its killer Android feature to any web browser.

Google Now for web browsers will work like the Android version, serving users information that’s relevant to his or her search history and location. For example, Google Now will display weather as well as showing nearby restaurants. Unfortunately there’s no screenshot of the alleged Google Now infused home page but it could look like an updated version of Google’s soon to be defunct iGoogle.
