Samsung’s One UI 9.5 leak surfaces: satellite hub and new USB controls

A leaked build of Samsung’s One UI 9.5 is making the rounds ahead of what could be an early 2027 debut with the Samsung Galaxy S27. The two standout additions mentioned in the leak are a Satellite connectivity hub and a USB mode labeled “Debugging only.”

If the build is real, that Satellite hub pulls Google’s Satellite SOS features into One UI, so you could text contacts or reach emergency services when both cellular service and Wi‑Fi are down. The leak also mentions a demo mode and an alignment guide that helps you point the phone for a connection. Taken together, it looks like Samsung may be building around Google’s satellite system instead of leaving related features scattered across different menus.

The USB setting would let you use Android Debug Bridge, or ADB, without enabling file transfers. That gives developers and tinkerers a bit more control, and it lines up with Samsung’s recent focus on tightening up One UI rather than giving it a big visual overhaul.
